Over 3 days in November I will be riding over 500km (and climbing upwards of 8,3000m) on the Club Peloton Cycle to MAPIC event. We are cycling to raise money for an amazing charity - Coram - which is based just down the road from us at King's Cross.
The work Coram do with vulnerable kids is incredible (and sadly, very necessary). If you need any convincing of that, please check out their website (see below) or drop me a line for more info.
Any donation, large or small, will be hugely appreciated. Rest assured that all funds will go directly to Club Peloton - the cost of this event (and all the support teams (also very necessary!) etc) having already been covered by the entry fee.
The ride (and the training for the ride) will be hard work. When you're covering an average of 175km a day there are no easy days - so the preparation will have to be thorough. Suffice to say we will have earned all sponsorship by the time we (fingers crossed) roll into Cannes.
Many many thanks in advance.
Coram is the UK’s first children’s charity, founded in 1739. Every day Coram offers direct, practical help and emotional support to vulnerable children, young people, and their families. Club Peloton riders have raised over £1 million for Coram, giving more children the chance of a brighter future. With the support of Cycle to MAPIC riders this year, we can ensure even more vulnerable young people benefit from Coram’s vital services.
