About Hayley Oliver

Profile picture I never used to be a runner or even keen on the idea of running, but I grew up in awe and admiration of my Dad who was always into running and who had even completed a couple of marathons in his younger days. I was also awe-struck by the incredible athletes we used to watch every weekend as my Dad loved watching all kinds of sports. A couple of years ago I decided I would challenge myself and take up running as a way to get fit. And it did help me massively - I lost an amazing 4 stone and was able to run fairly long distances. After a couple of years of not running again due to surgery, I have recently started training and have set myself some big goals, the first being the Durrell Dash. Not only will this be a personal achievement of mine to tick off my goal list, but it is for such a worthy cause that I hold dear to my heart. Our environment and the world at the moment in terms of climate and our animal kingdom is in critical condition, and Durrell does such wonderful work to ensure we do all we can to preserve the beautiful species we are privileged to share this incredible planet with. Please help me by donating whatever you can to Durrell and the new hone for our beautiful Gorillas.
