About John Oakley

I’m a teacher and music fan, and member of tribute band Hi On Maiden, i usually cannot take part in the Real HM Truants ride to Donington because of my job, but support it each year.

I will be attempting to cycle the miles between my home in Reading and work in Langley, Berkshire each day to cover the required distance. I had an operation January to remove pins in my leg, and am just recovering so that will make this challenge extra tough. Wish me luck.
