I'm still not quite sure how this happened, but in the absence of an actual Download festival this year, I'm virtually riding London to Donnington with the Heavy Metal Truants for the Eighth of Spades!
Your token overweight, trainee alcoholic smoker (me) will be riding 175 miles or more over the first twelve days of June, and probably reevaluating a number of life choices while I'm at it! I realise for many this is no biggie, but haven't seen a bicycle since was 12 and I didn't like it then.
I know times are tight, I really do, but if you can spare anything to support my first charity 'exercise' since the BHF Fun Run in 1989, I would be SO grateful!
