I'm going to ride 175 miles, the distance from London to Castle Donington (Download Festival) within June 1st - 12th on an exercise bike - because I don't trust myself on the roads of London on a bike! Ha.
I have worked with and admired The Truants from afar for many years, through my work as part of the PR team for Download Festival. This year, I was toying with the idea of taking part and was so disappointed when it looked like the ride would not be going ahead. I am thrilled that the ride will be taking place virtually and am also very excited to be working with the team this year and providing PR support. I don't quite know how I will manage to do 175 miles but I'll sit on that bike until it's done! The charity beneficiaries are all extremely crucial and we're happy to welcome Save The Children as an international partner for this year.
