The Headway Running For Frubbs 10 mile Race is a memorial run, organised by Headway Ambassador Harry McAlinden in memory of his good friend and Headway member, Frank McFarlane. This is the 3rd running of the race following the previous year's successes and we will be staging a smaller race on Sunday November 22nd for our local runners( Jersey residents only). To comply with the Government of Jersey policy for mass gatherings and events we will be including a number of precautions to ensure that we mitigate and risk associated with the spread of Covid-19.
We appreciate your support and even more so this year following the devastating loss of £100,000 in fundraising due to Covid-19 which may mean a cut to our life changing services we provide to our members who have suffered from Stroke, Brain Tumour, Aneurysm and Accidents amongst many other causes of Acquired Brain Injury.
Please note: by choosing the No T-Shirt option during the registration process your donation goes further to supporting the work of Headway.
*The staging of the Headway Running For Frubbs 10 Mile Race is subject to the Bailiff Chambers permit and the event complying with the Government of Jersey's policy for mass gatherings and events, that is in place on the date of the event. If the event is forced to be cancelled due to Government policy changes, runners will be eligible to transfer their entry into a future Headway Jersey (Ltd)event.
