The Race to Net Zero

The mission of Ark2030 is to end the climate crisis by restoring the 500m hectares of global eco systems destroyed by mankind since the beginning of the industrial revolution. By restoring ecosystems we also restore the balance between the amount of CO2 we put into the atmosphere and the amount we drawdown; helping to reverse global warming

We all have a role to play in reducing our Carbon Footprint - but there will always be a residual footprint that we simply cannot eliminate ..and that's where Race to Net Zero comes in:

The aim of the Race to Net Zero is to offer everyone the opportunity to offset their annual carbon footprint in a simple, fun and healthy way.

By Joining The Race to Net Zero we each take responsibility for solving the climate crisis together; if 1 billion people pledged Net Zero this would have a truly profound effect on the Climate Crisis.

For a typical European who produces 12,000kg of carbon dioxide each year from travel, food, clothes, heating etc it costs about £120 to offset; this can be achieved by planting trees to store the carbon, investing in renewable energy, electric vehicles and other sustainable lifestyle choices. 

How to get Involved

• Sign up to an event and get sponsored
• If you are unable to take part in an event sponsor someone to offset your footprint

Carbon Offset Guide

• Lifetime - £10,000 funds the offset of a typical individual’s Carbon Footprint for an entire lifetime
• 1 year – £120 funds the offset of a typical individual’s Carbon Footprint for an entire year
• 6 months – £60 funds the offset of a typical individual’s Carbon Footprint for 6 months
• 3 months - £30 funds the offset of a typical individual’s Carbon Footprint for 3 months
• 1 month - £10 funds the offset of a typical individual’s Carbon Footprint for 1 month
