PWP empowers, improves function and increases quality of life for those affected by Parkinson’s. We do this through fun, safe and effective multidisciplinary programs with rigorous evidence based exercise at its core.
There are nearly 3,000 people on Vancouver Island currently diagnosed with Parkinson's, and the number continues to grow. Parkinson's is a progressive disorder of the nervous system with no current cure. However, Parkinson's specific rigorous exercise has been shown to slow the progression of the disease! Come out and join others who are on the same journey as you are.
Race The Moon is quite simply, “The Challenge That’s Out Of This World”, a cumulative mass participation event, where the focus is not on how fast, or how far you can go, but one where every ones contribution is valued and recognised.
Here at Race The Moon HQ we are inviting a global community of runners, riders, and walkers, of all ages and abilities, those with and without Parkinson’s Disease, to unite and #RaceTheMoon.
