My dear friends daughter was diagnosed with MAP Nemaline some years ago. This is a very rare condition with no treatment or cure. Despite this, the incredible fortitude and good humour she shows on a daily basis is humbling. Her family hope that by raising awareness of this little known condition it will be possible to directly fund research that may make that uphill battle for children diagnosed with nemaline myopathy in future generations a little easier. So this year, somewhat to my wife's astonishment, I am running 10k in the Oxford Town and Gown race to raise money for research. Any donation will be gratefully received.
