Hi friends,
As most of you know I enjoy pushing my physical limits, specially when there is a great cause behind it, you helped me raise money towards research related to heart diseases (British Heart Foundation), keep young people away from a life of crime (William Wates Memorial Trust) and finding a cure for cancer (UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge) Thank You!!!
I am back at it again and this time joining forces with one of my best friends Emil Berrios who I met whilst cycling of course. He is into Heavy Metal (I am not) but we both share the idea of helping others if we can. In this case we want to make an impact on children, all donations will go towards these four charities:
Nordoff Robbins, Childline, Teenage Cancer Trust, Save the Children
The challenge:
Bike ride from San Francisco to San Diego, a total of 667.22 miles over 5 days, 31,343ft of elevation gain
The route: https://www.strava.com/routes/2821894607858988022
We will be setting off from the Golden Gate on Monday 24th May and planing to reach Cabrillo National Monument on Friday 28th May.
Your donations will only encourage us to keep pedaling. Thanks a lot for your support.
JP
