Ian, Alasdair and Hannah from LRE are running the Oxford Town and Gown on Sunday 27th June in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK. The race is a lovely scenic 10km route around the dreamy city of Oxford. We expect there will be a high level of competitiveness between these three (although they would never admit it) and so taking in their surroundings will not be on the agenda!
There are a lot of extremely worthwhile charities to donate to and this certainly is one of them. Muscular Dystrophy is a group of diseases which cause progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass. There is no cure or way to reverse any form of MD and this fantastic charity provides support and advice to people with this condition and to their families.
We would be extremely grateful for any amount you can spare. The 'gazelles' are currently in training after a long old winter - are we even out of it yet?! I hear Ally had a successful run in the torrential rain this week, Ian is using the hills in Blenheim to train and Hannah, the one we've got my money on, is in the gym for a good few hours a day.
Thanks so much in advance for your support.
