As part of the Heavy Metal Truants, I have decided to try and run a total of 1000km over the year to raise funds for the 4 charities: Childline, Save the Children, Teenage Cancer Trust and Nordoff Robbins. All great charities that do so much for the kids both at home in the UK and abroad!

I only started running last year – my main aim was to loose the ever growing beer belly and for my general fitness & wellbeing! Must blame the expanding selection of Trooper beers for my waistline!
