About Kathryn Quinton
The backyard ultra concept has fascinated me for a while. One lap of 4.1667 miles on the hour, every hour until …? Who knows! I’ve no idea just what I can achieve. Starting at 6pm on Friday 10th September, I will quickly be running into darkness and sleep deprivation. This is a true test of organisation, perseverance and determination. Not just for me, but wonderful race crew who have kindly offered to give up their time to feed and water me, get me ready for each loop, put up with my undoubtedly grumpy moments and tend to my stinky feet when they hurt!
School in a Bag is a fantastic charity and if I can help raise some money along my journey, then that would be amazing.

According to UNICEF figures, 20% of the world’s child population will never attend school.
School in a Bag is a simple solution created to help poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children throughout the world. Each SchoolBag is filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils that will enable a child to write, draw, colour, calculate, express themselves and above all learn.
An education for these children could be their passport to a life out of hardship and poverty.
