About Beau Le Main

I'm going to do my first triathlon. It will be hard because I have cerebral palsy, but I'm going to do it! Please can you sponsor me."

Notes: Beau only learnt to swim recently and still uses armbands for distances over 10m. He uses a trike to cycle, as he finds balancing and pedalling at the same time difficult. We may use our tandem trike for the event, but he will be doing all the work. He learnt to walk when he was 3 years old and has only been able to run for about a year and in his words "I'm slow". HOWEVER he is a really determined young boy and we are sure he will give it his all, so he can complete the triathlon and raise lot of money for charity.

He is hoping to win the prize for the person who raises the most money!

*UPDATE: Beau is determined to complete the triathlon solo (rather than use our tandem trike), so he has been practising riding his bike. He is going to go for it!*

About Vistra Jersey Kids Triathlon 2022

2022 Information

The Vistra Kids’ Triathlon raises funds and awareness for Blood Cancer UK – Jersey Branch (formerly known as Bloodwise Jersey). The Vistra Kids’ Triathlon is in its ninth year and will take place on Saturday 11 June 2022 at Les Quennevais Sports and Leisure Centre.

The aim of the event is to raise valuable funds for the Blood Cancer UK (Jersey branch) charity, through participating in a fun kids triathlon event. The event is open to children of all abilities aged between 6 to 13 (Years 2-8).

Our event is designed to be fun and non-competitive. Our aim is to see every single participant successfully complete the course.

Please note that if your child needs special assistance in order to participate, please contact the Kids Triathlon team at enquiries@3d-events.co.uk

Every participant will receive a complimentary event t-shirt, medal, and Vistra goody bag.
