Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a runner and never have been. During the summer Matilda began taking part in Junior Park Run and really inspired me with her determination and resilience. So, this October we are both taking part in running events at Blenheim Palace.
Matilda will run 1 mile and I will be running 7km.
We would like to raise money for a charity close to our hearts: St Catherine's Hospice in Scarborough. St Catherine's Hospice provides care and quality of life for those with life limiting illness. The care is provided either in the hospice or at home. Although it is a Scarborough based hospice it operates through 1,600 square miles of North and East Yorkshire. All of its services are provided free of charge, meaning the hospice relies on fundraising to raise the £5 million costs a year to care for its patients.
