During a Truants ride in Morocco in 2012, I asked Alex Milas how he was getting to Download Festival and whether he wanted to cycle there. Ten Years later, and we’re celebrating over £1M raised by The Heavy Metal Truants doing just that.
Unlike The Truants, this ride is hilly as hell, usually wet and windy but of course ends at the hallowed ground of Donington Race Track.
After 2 years of not having an official physical ride, we’ll be back on the bikes, forging through the weather, all in the name of charity. All profits from the fundraising will go to 4 incredible children’s charities: Save The Children International, Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline.
These rides aren’t easy. And as we age, they get harder. So please support by donating what you can. It’s all for the kids.
