This year myself & two others undertook a pre-event ride of a 200 miles cycle on 21st May, looping Winchester from St Paul’s, London. We started at 3am & crossed the line at 9pm. After 2 years of cancellations I’ll then join the HMT on their annual 175-mile cycle to Download in June.
Despite the difficulties of these past 2 years the HMT have met the challenge head-on and raised over £1M for NSPCC Childline, Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust and more recently Save The Children, with over a third of this coming during lockdown or restrictions. So, I have no shame to ask for your support once again to push the 55 year Unicorn the extra miles in aid of these Charities who have seen their income slashed via Covid yet have fought to maintain the same services; protecting Children from abuse, provide comfort to those with cancer, those who suffer psychological, physical or developmental disabilities or simply those in danger from circumstance.
