The Mason family is raising money for the recent and tragic loss of their 14 year old daughter, Kezia. She was a friend to both my teenage daughter and step daughter. The family will be donating to local teenage mental health charities. I would like to help support this cause in Kezia's memory. I hope through raising this money, we can help save others and their families in the future.

I was born and raised in Canada and naturally ice hockey was my main sport growing up. I've played since I was 5 years old and finished my competitive career after playing for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues between 1995 to 1999.  

After a working for a few years as a Professional Engineer in Ontario's nuclear power plants, I moved to Jersey. I've embraced this beautiful island as my home having been here for nearly 18 years. I have a family and close friends here, and I care about this island and it's people. 

You may think that since I was an ice hockey player I am used to fighting, however nothing is further from the truth!  You would be able to count the number of fights I've been in on one hand for my entire hockey career.  Regardless, this is a very different sport.  I can't wait to compete in such an amazing event and raise money for a worthwhile cause.
