This is the first year I have been involved in the annual Heavy Metal Truants charity fundraising cycle ride from London Alexandra Palace to Castle Donington.
Between June 8th & 10th I am taking on this gruelling hellish challenge to conquer 160 miles in three days to raise much needed funds for four great charities. All the proceeds will be split equally between Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust, Childline and Save The Children.
These four chosen charities work so hard to support children and young people. During the pandemic they were hit hard, they need our support now more than ever – the kids need it.
I do hope that you will be able to support me generously, it won't be easy and every donation I receive will help encourage me through the pain I shall endure on this epic ride!

"‘Twas for good causes Monsieur
Doddington once rode to Castle Donnington,
In search of its legendary Maiden of Iron.
He peddled so fast, didn’t want to come last, in case he should miss her amazing repast;
Of Les frites and a portion of coddinton.
How e’r all he found was said Maiden’s Dachshund, perched so dainty on top of the moor. He got off his seat to a feeling of heat in his britches, his saddle so sore"
