It's once again that time of year when a not-quite-so-young man's fancy turns to pedaling for many miles through the English countryside in aid of kids' charities.
Heavy Metal Truants XI will be my ninth consecutive year, having been involved in the annual Heavy Metal Truants charity fundraising activities since 2015.
This year marks our eleventh ride and in the immortal words of Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel, this one 'goes to eleven'!
As a group, we have raised well over GBP 1M to support kids in need through Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, Childline, Teenage Cancer Trust, and Save the Children.
So between June 6th and June 8th 2023, I will be riding the 150 miles / 240km from London's Alexandra Palace up to the Donington Download Festival site.
As always, any sponsorship donations will be exceptionally welcome and appreciated to help me get through those miles, and help us raise as much money as possible for kids in need.
