My wife Debbie and I have lost dear friends to breast cancer. Debbie was also treated for breast cancer at The Royal Marsden in 2012. She is a devoted supporter of Le Cure and so am I. Le Cure is unique in its special relationship with The Royal Marsden. As cyclists, we pay all our own costs so that the money we raise goes directly to cutting-edge research projects which our representatives, including my wife’s oncologist (who cycles with us) help to choose. I am very proud that Le Cure-funded research has already led to changes in clinical practice and saved women from invasive biopsies with its liquid biopsy research. Its most recent research will help to identify more targeted treatments as well as early identification of potential relapse.
