For years I've been telling myself I'm going to learn to surf, but have never gotten round to it. So this year is the year, and I' m so excited to get in the sea.
For me seawater is as good as therapy, and I can't think of a better charity to show support too.

Healing Waves is a charity based in Jersey Channel Islands. We enable individuals with physical, neurological & mental health challenges to access the ocean in a safe way, to participate in surf, paddle and flowrider sessions.
We offer Ocean Therapy through guided surf, paddle and flow sessions. These water sports are used as a vessel, helping our athletes to gain more self-confidence and communication skills, whilst providing therapy and respite for all. Water sports can stimulate the ‘stoke’ like feeling and can promote a sense of accomplishment and empowerment in our Athletes, whilst families, friends and carers cheer them on from the side lines. We encourage loved ones and carers to participate in sessions, helping to strengthen the (often strained) bonds which are vital for healthy relationships.
Jersey White Collar Surf 2023! We are looking for novice surfers who want to Learn how to surf confidently, improve their fitness and meet new like-minded people. If YES, then don’t hesitate to join us this summer!
Progressive lessons start May 13th, twice a week. Choice of Wednesdays/Thursdays and Saturdays.
Surf Comp and Surf Festival will take place August 12th. Last year we raised nearly 25,000 for healing waves. Let's beat it this year!
The entry fee is £600 and this includes: • Learn to surf with Splash Surf Centre. • Fun, sociable and professional environment. • Open to 32 entrants who have never surfed before. • 1 hour lessons commencing starting May 2023. • 12 progressive lessons on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays. • Branded t-shirt, hoodie, cap, jacket & bag included in fee. • Prizes in men's and women's categories. • Top fund raiser prize for most sponsorship raised. • Unlimited use of equipment: Wetsuit & Surfboard
