So this is HMT for the 4th time in the row..
I discovered Heavy Metal Truants during the 2020 lockdown when they ingeniously created a virtual challenge to replace the actual challenge. Good job really because I can't ride a bike so though the road challenge is back on, it's just not for me! Getting a exercise bike really helped me through the tough times and allowed me to raise a bit of money for some most excellent charities.
I have participated in many walking challenges so this was a departure.. I haven't matched my 2020 performance again, it's been tough with a new half a knee on board - slightly bionic but the recovery isn't as easy as I expected.
Anyway!!! Let's go raise hell at Download20 after raising some more cash for Teenage Cancer Trust, Save the Children, the NSPCC's Childline and Nordoff Robbins.
