I'm taking part in the itex, in memory of my partner who passed away a year ago on the day 17th June. My chosen charity is silkworth, because they are an amazing charity and helped my partner so much and myself. This is very spontaneous as I haven't trained for the itex, I'm just going to do it through pure determination, I'm aiming to complete in under 14hours.
The Main Walk starts at 3am from Elizabeth Terminal at the Harbour. If you do not fancy walking 48.1 miles in one go, why not enter a team of 4 in the Team Relay that follows the main walk route, or the next stage of the Lieutenant Governor’s Challenge which starts at 2:30pm from Le Braye, Checkpoint 9 and through to the Finish Line at the Waterfront – everyone running a checkpoint is there to offer each of you support and encouragement.
