We are pleased to be organising the Swansea Bay Summer 5k Series and Fun Run for a 4th year and very excited to be back at the new Secret Beach Bar & Restaurant. The aim of the series is for the running community in Swansea to take part in three 5k races in May, June and July to improve on their performance at each event in a fun and competitive environment. There is also a fun run for children of all ages, inviting children from schools in Swansea to enjoy a fun and friendly atmosphere while taking part in either a 1k or 2.5k run. There is also a charitable aim - all proceeds will be donated to the Paul Popham Fund, Renal Support Wales to help support more kidney patients to lead a better quality of life and believe in themselves.
The series will again take place on the second Thursday of May, June and July, with the main race starting at 7pm and the children’s fun run starting at 6pm. And in addition there will be entertainment for the runners and supporters to enjoy.
