The EPIC Moonlight Marathon returns for 2021!
Take on a unique marathon experience under the moonlit sky in Guernsey. The EPIC Moonlight Marathon starts outside the Octopus Bar & Restauranut in St Peter Port, taking an anti-clockwise loop around the island. Runners will set off at 2.30am on the morning of Sunday 21st February, with the full marathon route taking a sweep of the island in the peace and stillness of the night.
This event is not a race, the aim is for all runners to remain together and finish as one big group. We have three distances to available to run this year, they are;
- Full Marathon (Octopus Restaurant starting line - 2:30am)
- Half Marathon (Cobo Kiosk Car Park meeting point)
- 8 Miles (Imperial Hotel meeting point)
Runners will finish the event with a fantastic breakfast at the Octopus Bar & Restaurant consisting of:
- Tea, Coffee, Orange Juice.
- Selection of Pastries
Breakfast choices of:
- Scramble Egg on Sourdough Toast (Available in Gluten Free or/ and Dairy Free)
- Bacon & Egg Sandwich (Available in Gluten Free or/ and Dairy Free)
- Vegan breakfast
Breakfast will hopefully be accompanied by a stunning Guernsey sunrise.
Please note, there will be water stops on route but we encourage runners to bring their own bottles to refill as we do not want to use plastic cups.
