Event Update
This year, the Oxford Town and Gown Junior 3k is taking place at Summer Fields School on Sunday 19 September 2021 (postponed from its original date in May).
NO on the day entries. Entries close 9am Wednesday 15th Sept.
About Oxford Town and Gown
Our Junior 3k, open to 9-15-year-olds, is a chip-timed event which in 2021 will be hosted in the stunning grounds of Summer Fields school, which is a short distance from our usual venue in University Parks. Due to Covid-19 we've had to separate the Junior 3k from the 10k race but we're delighted and thankful we're able to host it at this wonderful venue in 2021. Schools, running clubs and families enter teams into this competitive and fun event. We’d love to see you there!
The route will be published closer to the event but it will be a mixed terrain course contained in the ground of Summer Fields School mainly on well-drained firm grass. It’s a perfect run for those just getting into running or any young person looking to set a personal best!
If you’re wanting to run your first, your fastest or your most orange 3k yet – this is the race for you.
