Refunds and Transfers Minimum Age
We do not offer refunds or transfers, unfortunately. Costs associated with the race are allocated as soon as you sign up and therefore we cannot recover those costs if you find you then are unable to run. 17 Years old

Dogs, Running Buggies and Children
Unfortunately, the course is not suitable for any of these so please do not attempt to run with them. The marshals will stop you and you will not be allowed to continue.

Headphones
You may not wear headphones on the course. It is a stipulation of our race insurance that competitors must be able to hear all directions given by the marshals. There is one road crossing where traffic will still be flowing so you must be able to listen and respond to the marshals instructions. Anyone seen wearing headphones will be liable to disqualification and also may be stopped from completing the course.

Covid-19
We follow the Governments guidelines to the best of our abilities. The current roadmap should see us hosting an event free from restrictions. However, please have confidence that we have developed our plans in case the situation changes. If the roadmap does change we will communicate with you as to how we plan to host a Covid secure event. If you do wish to know more then please drop us a line. If we are required by the UK government or the local council to postpone the event then your entry will be automatically deferred.

Deferrals from 2021
If you deferred your 2021 race entry then please keep an eye on your inbox for information on how to claim your 2022 race place.

Fundraising Information

This fundraising page benefits the following good causes:

A Mile In Her Shoes

A Mile In Her Shoes Here at A Mile in Her Shoes, we encourage women who are at risk of homelessness or affected by related issues to try running as a way of exercising, socialising, lifting confidence and boosting self-esteem. We work to identify and remove any barriers to running, enabling our participants to access the same mental, physical, health and social benefits from running as any other woman. We create, lead and support running fitness groups through a volunteer-led programme. Sessions are provided by trained and insured female volunteers who are qualified to lead mixed ability groups. The content of every one of our sessions is designed to be fun and suitable for all fitness levels including absolute beginners. Everybody is welcome and we help individuals reach their own goals together. We provide all the appropriate clothing including sports bras and footwear suitable for running. Much of the kit is donated second-hand - mostly from other runners - but it is all in good condition and the sports bras and socks are always brand new.

Ealing Eagles Charitable Foundation

The Ealing Eagles Charitable Foundation (a charity registered with the Charity Commission in 2018) was set up to promote health and wellbeing in Ealing and the surrounding areas. The foundation aims to ensure that Ealing Eagles Running Club can provide a safe environment for children and adults to take up and keep running, both now and in the long term. Nigel Panton is the Chair of the Trustee board, which meets every 6-8 weeks. We would like to thank James de Vivenot for all his hard work as a trustee, as he has decided to stand down this month. At the same time, we welcome Sarah Dhanda, who became a new trustee this month and is already keeping us on our toes as we develop our strategic priorities. The charitable foundation is independent of the Eagles, but obviously retains strong links with the club. For example, all of the current trustees are members of the Eagles. This year, the foundation is one of the club’s nominated charities.
