Our charity is dedicated to protecting Jersey’s unique culture and heritage, which runs through all aspects of Island life. For a small island, we have a big story to share and one that is incredibly rich and varied. Our mission is to is help the community to find their place in that story and to ensure it keeps being told so that people are inspired to create a better Island for everyone. We are responsible for Jersey’s major historic sites, award-winning museums and public archives. The collections and historic places we care for define the Island, hold evidence of its history and act as the community’s memory. We work with all aspects of the Island’s community, including schools and socially disadvantaged Islanders. As a local charity, we have to raise £5 million per year to continue our work.
