We are proud to be bringing you Geefit’s first ever FANCY DRESS 5K RUN!!!

WHO IS THE EVENT FOR?
This is for EVERYONE. That’s right — if you have a budding Geefitter at home, we are pleased to announce that children aged 5-16 can take part! There is a 2.5k option for under 16s and 16+ will have the option of either the 2.5k or 5k, the choice is yours.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
Participants are expected to arrive 30/45 mins before their wave to register, warm up and show off their fancy dress!
The run will be fully signposted with clearly marked start and finish lines and groups will begin in 5 minute increments.
Water and energy refreshments will be provided free of charge at designated checkpoints during the run and at the finish line.
You are welcome to run or walk, the pace is entirely up to you! You can even skip if you like — the aim is just to have fun whilst completing your 2.5K or 5k.
Geefit will have experienced medical cover in the unlikely event of injury.

WHAT YOU GET.
Apart from the satisfaction of a great run, you will also be in line for some Geefit goodies when you arrive at the finish line!
All participants will receive a bespoke Geefit finishers medal and the adults will also receive a T-shirt.( unless completing 2.5k)
Geefit will provide chip timing and results as well as FREE professional race photos!
Refreshments will be available
You will of course, as Geefit standard, be provided with friendly support and assistance by qualified instructors.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

Whilst this is a fancy dress event, if that’s not your bag - fancy dress is optional!
There is no theme, just any fancy dress - we’ll be on the lookout for the craziest dressed participants.
This really is going to be a special Geefit community event. Although we are a Bootcamp with health and fitness at the fore, the heart of Geefit is you. And nothing is more important to Geefit than its members. So let’s get together, have some fun and get some exercise in as a bonus.

CHARITY
We are working together raise money and awareness for Solent Youth Action charity in our local area Eastleigh and Southampton. I choose this charity because it is local and it is a youth provision charity supporting vulnerable young people aged 10- 25. SYA empowers young people to develop as individuals, enjoy new challenges and make a positive contribution to the community through volunteering, social action and active citizenship. The work these guys put in to make these youth feels special and feel a part of something is amazing.
