About Coltishall Rainbow Run 2024

Join us for the first Coltishall Rainbow Run on Sunday 9th June at 11am!

The Friends of Coltishall Primary School are organising the Coltishall Rainbow Run 2024 for the whole community to enjoy, whilst raising funds for our village school, supported by Websters Estate Agent and Lettings. Also Wroxham Launch Hire, PARC Civils Ltd. and Frontline Traffic Solutions Ltd.

This is a family friendly event with a choice of a 2k & 4.5k routes to complete. Both routes will have 5 powder paint stations along the way to run, walk, hop, skip or jump your way through! The event is not timed, some will want to run, whilst others will prefer to walk. Instead the emphasis is on joining in, having fun, getting outside and a sense of self achievement. By the end you will be covered in coloured powder, have your own medal to take away and be able to say - YOU DID IT!!!

The route starts and finishes at Coltishall Primary School. Both routes consist of sports fields and marshalled public roads, with the longer 4.5K route taking in a picturesque route through St James along a marshalled lane, country path and the allotments!

Advanced registration is required for all participants. Registered check in on the day will be in the school hall from 9:30. Warm up 10:40 for a prompt 11am Start time.

Friends of Coltishall Primary School

Welcome!
The PTA, known as the Friends of Coltishall Primary School, would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and give you an idea of some of things we do. We hope that you will feel you want to support us and get involved with our socials and fund-raising activities.
The Friends overarching aim is to “Enhance the education of the pupils of Coltishall Primary by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the local authority)”. Alongside this we also want to create social opportunities for the whole school community to get together and have fun.
The Friends committee is made up of volunteer parents, grandparents and staff. We are backed up by a wider group of volunteers who help at the special events we organise throughout the year.
As a Committee we have an elected Chair, Secretary and Treasurer and as many other members who wish to join. A list of the current committee members can be found on the Friends Facebook page or on the school web-site. We are a friendly and open group and always welcome new members and fresh ideas! Why not come along to one of our half-termly meeting to check us out?
In today’s climate it is all the more necessary to provide money for all the extras which make life at Coltishall Primary all the more enriching and rewarding for the children.
