About Green Army Fun Run 2025

Join the excitement as our 5k Fun Run returns in November 2025 for our THIRD year! Central Park will once again come alive with the energy and excitement that is the Green Army Fun Run, with runners expected to lace up their trainers to take on the challenge for Project 35, our social action campaign aimed at reducing food poverty in Plymouth, in partnership with Ginsters.

The route showcases Plymouth’s iconic Central Park, finishing inside Home Park Stadium, giving runners the chance to run pitchside around the famous hallowed turf. Whether you’re an experienced runner or gearing up for your first-ever 5k, the Green Army Fun Run brings the community together and delivers incredible support for every runner, at every twist and every turn of the course, and all for a great cause.

As a member of the Green Army you will fundraise for Project 35 – making your involvement with the event even more impactful by helping us to change lives across Devon and Cornwall.

Argyle Community Trust

In 2024, Argyle Community Trust are hoping to launch an innovative Cancer rehabilitation and exercise programme for men and women living with Cancer, set to launch from Brickfields Community Hub toward the end of the year. We're looking for local fundraisers to help us make this happen!

Argyle Community Trust is the leading sport-for-change charity in Devon and Cornwall. We are the official charity of Plymouth Argyle Football Club and utilise the prestige of football, the reach of the club and the power of the badge to inspire, engage and help people of all ages, genders, race, and socio-economic status. Our work focuses, primarily, on removing barriers to participation and offering opportunities that are accessible to all. We maintain a particular focus on disadvantaged and isolated communities, underrepresented groups and at-risk children, young people and adults and we use the power of the brand as a starting point for engagement with these communities.

This innovative new Cancer Rehabilitation project will enable us to use physical activity to help patients during their recovery in a physical, social, and emotional context. The programme will provide participants with the benefits of physical exercise, whilst also creating a consistent social environment where members can share stories and increase their confidence and self-esteem during a difficult period in their lives. Participants will be welcomed on to our project at any time throughout their cancer journey; from diagnosis, during treatment or recovery and through to remission, meaning they can benefit from the programme before, throughout and after treatment. The project is set up to help people make positive connections at a time where they are feeling lonely/scared.
