About Candles on the Beach

Join us for a special evening on Saturday 23 May 2026 as we illuminate St Brelade’s Bay Beach with candles in memory of our loved ones. This is a fantastic opportunity to join with friends, family, and as a community, to reflect, celebrate, and remember the people we love who are no longer with us.

Please note: seating will not be provided for this event as standard. Limited seating will be available for those who require it which you can book below. Seated guests will be in an area away from the candles but they will still be able to reflect and take part in the celebration. Please be aware the event runs through sunset and into the night, it is advisable to bring warm clothes.

Tickets to reserve your space and candle closes at 12:00 on Saturday 23 May. You can register on the night but candles may be limited.

Fundraising Information

This fundraising page benefits the following good cause:

Jersey Hospice Care

Jersey Hospice Care is the island’s only hospice – providing specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting conditions. Services include the Specialist Palliative Care Team – who support people at home, in hospital, and in care homes, an In Patient Unit providing a home away from home, educational programmes, complementary therapy, emotional, spiritual and faith support, and community bereavement services. Jersey Hospice Care is an independent charity, providing all its services without a charge to patients. It costs £18,000 a day to run – funded mainly by the generosity of islanders. This comes in the form of donations, fundraising, and sales in our charity shops, as well as through the outstanding work of the dedicated volunteers who give their time and skills to keep Hospice running.
