Jersey Mencap South Coast Charity Challenge ***now virtual***
A 15 mile sponsored walk raising vital funds for people with a learning disability in Jersey.
Fundraise with your feet for Jersey Mencap whilst enjoying a good hike in Jersey. This annual, charity event has been going since 2006. The money raised will be invested into Jersey Mencap projects which provide more opportunity, choice and support for people with a learning disability in Jersey.
Due to ongoing restrictions, this event will now be virtual. We want to keep participants, volunteers, staff and Mencap members safe and following advice, the decision was made based on safety.
Participants can complete the challenge during the month of May in their own time. A route map and event tee-shirt will available for collection from Jersey Mencap office in Trinity - please call the office on 866622 to arrange collection.
Participants are free to chose an alternative route and can complete the 15 miles in stages if preferred. Many are opting to walk the course in reverse so starting at the Radio Tower near Corbiere and walking to La Rocque.
