A bike ride through the wine country of Italy sounds dreamy? Yes..but…this is the PedElle and a challenge even for those who imbibe!
Emma G, Kate and Emma B are riding a staggering 400km from Siena to Rome in just 3 days, taking part in The Legal & General Real Assets pedElle 2019. To be fit involves arduous days in the saddle training..and lots of uphill practice! Tough for the fittest - that’s Kate and Emma B BTW..and weeks of pedalling in the high Chiltern hills for Emma G - whos legs at 50+ have had better days!
The cause is fantastic and we are excited to be riding for Knight Frank and raising money for Club Peloton whose main grant recipient is Coram, the UK's oldest and first children's charity, supporting vulnerable children for over 275 years. The remainder of the funds raised will be shared between Tom’s Trust, Cyclists Fighting Cancer and Multiple System Atrophy Trust.
We would be extremely grateful for any donations.
