“Hi everyone!
We are a group of Health Data Science PhD students who have decided to take on the challenge of running a 10k race together to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy.
Muscular Dystrophy is a devastating disease that gradually weakens the muscles, making it difficult for those who have it to walk, move or even breathe. It is a debilitating condition that impacts not only those who have it but also their families and friends. Finding a cure could help so many people, but they need our support!
Our PhD cohort does everything together (we would do a PhD in friendship if we could), so we are also taking on this 10K as a team. We’ll be training together, encouraging each other and crossing the finish line together. We hope that you'll help us in our efforts by making a donation to Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK). Every pound we raise will go directly towards MDUK’s research and treatment for those affected by Muscular Dystrophy.
Thank you for your generosity!”
