The Heavy Metal Truants go one louder! Many years ago, before the dawn of history the Heavy Metal Truants were formed to raise money for childrens charities by cycling from London to Download Festival. Some of us even decided we really enjoyed cycling and decided to form the Heavy Metal Cycling Club. On Thursday June 1st in honour of Spinal Tap, ahead of the big Download Ride we will be cycling to Dover from the Cart and Horses in East London, catching a ferry to Calais for breakfast at Le Hovercraft, then returning to the Cart and Horses. It'll be a tough overnight nearly 300km journey and much could go wrong, but these charities work even harder, so off we go. Please donate directly or to any of our riders and let's make a difference for kids in the name of heavy metal.
