I am delighted to confirm it was completed within 6 days in its entirety by both John and I.
This was quite a physical challenge as I am sure most can appreciate, but the additional torture including sleep deprivation, sickness, self-induced blinding and biblical weather managed to also challenge our mental resolve somewhat.
You can catch up with our blog (http://www.pegasusgroup.co.uk/pegasus-group-cycle-mipim-2018/) that includes photos of the trip and was kindly written by John each evening after some gruelling time in the saddle, thank you John.
We are both extremely proud of our efforts and pleased to have raised money for Coram this being such a worthwhile cause.
We are now left with both fantastic memories and what I have established today to be known as ‘jack hammer hand’ which we both hope will subside in time.
Thanks again for all of the support we have received, we are truly very grateful.

Colin Virtue and John Armstrong are based in the Bristol office of Pegasus Group and in a desperate attempt to fend off middle age have committed to riding the 900 miles down to Cannes over a 6 day period (8th - 13th March). Aside from the worthy cause, they thought this sounded appealing until they discovered the 5am starts, the cold (down to -5 degrees in the mountains) and the length they will have to ride each day (up to 180 miles).
Colin and John have committed to raising a minimum of £6k for the charity Coram: the UK's oldest and first children's charity which helps over 1.25 million children every year. The remaining funds go to other charitable causes.
EACH DAY OF THE RIDE IS SPLIT INTO SIX STAGES WHERE YOU HAVE TO RIDE A MINIMUM OF TWO STAGES A DAY (100KM). A RIDER TYPICALLY COVERS 4 STAGES A DAY (200KM). IF YOU HELP THEM RAISE OVER £6,000, THEY WILL COMMIT TO RIDE EVERY STAGE OF EVERY DAY - THAT IS 1500KM!
Corporate Sponsorship is the best way to help as it also gives your company fantastic media coverage and exposure to the riders. Please contact Colin/John should this be of interest.
Colin and John would very much appreciate any financial (and moral!) support you are able to offer for this amazing cause. All being well (!), they will be keen to share a beer with those of you going to MIPIM.

Club Peloton is a fundraising charity which uses cycling as its platform for challenge events, bringing together a love for the sport and the opportunity to raise money for great causes.
Our main grant recipient - receiving two thirds of all funds raised - is Coram, the UK’s oldest and first children’s charity that has been supporting vulnerable children for over 275 years. Their flagship service, Coram Adoption, is the most successful voluntary adoption agency in the UK., finding loving and secure homes for some of the most vulnerable and hard-to-place children in the country. They now help more than 1.25 million children and young people every year, and this would not be possible without the generosity of our riders
Club Peloton will be supporting Coram’s vital programmes, with a specific focus on Coram’s unrivalled and pioneering adoption service. For more information please visit: www.coram.org.uk.
