“Well if you are going to do a charity ride, make it a tough one and find a good charity. L&G have ticked the first box (gulp !!) and Club Peloton supporting vulnerable children is an amazing charity that has been established since 1739 !!
What charity work must have been like back then beggars belief and the charity is now helping more than one million children, young people, families and professionals every year.

Coram's vision is that every child has the best possible chance to live a fulfilling life. They support children and young people from their earliest days to independence, creating a change that lasts a lifetime. They help build their confidence; help them to develop skills; uphold their rights and find loving adoptive families for the most vulnerable.
Thomas Coram (founder) was a philanthropist whose greatest achievement, the Foundling Hospital, was just one of many projects he pursued throughout his life.
He was neither wealthy nor famous but his commitment to his causes persuaded others to support him. He was radical in his thought and methods. He triumphed over the prejudices of a society which tolerated child poverty and destitution as a necessary evil, argued for the education of girls, and spoke up for native Americans and poor sailors left stranded in London.
Enough said really and many thanks for your sponsorship.

Raising Funds For
Club Peloton
Club Peloton is a fundraising charity which uses cycling as its platform for challenge events, bringing together a love for the sport and the opportunity to raise money for great causes.
Our main grant recipient - receiving two thirds of all funds raised - is Coram, the UK’s oldest and first children’s charity that has been supporting vulnerable children for over 275 years. Their flagship service, Coram Adoption, is the most successful voluntary adoption agency in the UK., finding loving and secure homes for some of the most vulnerable and hard-to-place children in the country. They now help more than 1.25 million children and young people every year, and this would not be possible without the generosity of our riders
Club Peloton will be supporting Coram’s vital programmes, with a specific focus on Coram’s unrivalled and pioneering adoption service. For more information please visit: www.coram.org.uk.
