About Blenheim 7k

SUNDAY 10 OCTOBER 2021

Events start at 10.15 am

Blenheim 7k, 1 mile junior run and 4 miles on wheels,

Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, 10 October

Run, jog or walk for charity or for fun at the World Heritage site, Blenheim Palace, Woodstock in Oxfordshire, the stunning venue for the annual Blenheim7k on 1o October, sponsored by Freeths solicitors and the Oxford Business Park.

There are three events to offer a race for all ages and abilities: the main 7k, 4 miles for buggies and wheelchairs, and 1 mile for under 15s.

The 7k takes a scenic route around the trails and paths of the Palace, including a spectacular lakeside section. Run, jog or walk, the course offers a challenging run for the more experienced, and beautiful surroundings for the beginner or anyone who wants to take a gentle pace.

The 4-mile route follows a similar course, missing out the off-road lakeside section to make it suitable for wheelchair and participants pushing buggies. All events are chip timed.

The 1-mile race is for under 15s, starting at 10.15 am with the other events starting after it has finished, meaning that parents can watch their children and participate in the 7k run.

The event is perfect for a group or workplace challenge and participants can choose the charity they want to support or simply participate for fun. Bring a team of friends, family and colleagues.

Entry to the event includes entry to the Blenheim Palace grounds.

Thomley - Virgin Money Giving

Disabled people don’t have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers to engage in activities that will help them attain the life skills they need in making the transition into adulthood. This means they miss essential experiences their non-disabled peers take for granted. For disabled people the building of this foundation can take longer and requires additional support to achieve a healthy transition.

Thomley enhances the well-being of disabled people through delivering activities that helps develop the skills they need to run their day-to-day lives.
