INSPIRING PEOPLE TO MANAGE THEIR MENTAL HEALTH
This year's TRy-a-Tri charity is the Jersey Recovery College ("JRC")
The JRC was developed from the States of Jersey Mental Health Strategy in 2016
Founded on the principles of hope, opportunity and empowerment, the JRC provides new opportunities for the Jersey public to learn about mental health and how to manage wellbeing
JRC provides free courses to adults on mental health, wellbeing, recovery and life skills. Courses are open to those experiencing mental health difficulties, their loved ones and professionals. The College uses education to help empower people to better manage mental health.
We all know how tremendously beneficial it is to our mental health to fill our bodies with energy through exercise so the aims of the JRC are very much aligned with those of the Try-a-Tri
All profits from the Try-a-Tri will be donated to the JRC but you can also contribute through your own fundraising efforts by asking your friend, colleagues and family to sponsor you on your Try-a-Tri journey.
You will also be able to make a personal donation - please consider giving generously – it makes all the effort you are putting into getting fit and ready for the 27th of June even more worthwhile
Thank you in advance
