Fundraising Information

Jeremiah's Journey

Since 1996, we have been providing support to children, young people and their parents/carers when the future feels uncertain or when hope feels lost. Our work covers Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

Supporting children who are facing the death of a parent or have experienced the death of someone significant, can be hugely beneficial. Children who feel more able to cope with their grief, often report that they have improved concentration at school and less difficulties in expressing and dealing with their emotions.

Luna's Fund

Our baby loss charity is determined to positively aid the mental and physical health and wellbeing of bereaved parents upon the loss of their baby.

We aim to support them by offering a choice of tangible services that they can access immediately upon leaving the hospital. We hope our services will positively impact their grieving process and give them hope for their future; their ‘new normal.’

We have constructed these ideas based on our own experience of what we would have loved to have been offered at the time... a lifeline after loss.

Kidney Research UK

As the leading kidney research charity in the UK, nothing is going to stop us in our urgent mission to end kidney disease. We’re here to be heard, to make a difference, to change the future. This is a disease that ruins and destroys lives. It must be stopped.

Over the past 60 years, our research has made an impact. But kidney failure is rising, as are the factors contributing to it, such as diabetes and obesity. Today, we are more essential than ever.

Kidney disease affects three million people in the UK, treatments can be gruelling and currently there is no cure. Only research will end this and nobody can do it but us, by offering kidney patients and their families hope for the future. We’re taking it on. But we can’t do it without you.

Our vision is "a world where families & their children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, can reach their full potential & thrive".

Our mission is to support & empower families with children living with a disability. We do this by providing services & activities for the whole family so that everyone gets to live their best life.

We operate in and around Plymouth, South Hams, West Devon & East Cornwall.

We are not rigid in our criteria & we don’t put-up barriers that would prevent our families from being able to thrive & flourish.

Argyle Community Trust

In 2024, Argyle Community Trust are hoping to launch an innovative Cancer rehabilitation and exercise programme for men and women living with Cancer, set to launch from Brickfields Community Hub toward the end of the year. We're looking for local fundraisers to help us make this happen!

Argyle Community Trust is the leading sport-for-change charity in Devon and Cornwall. We are the official charity of Plymouth Argyle Football Club and utilise the prestige of football, the reach of the club and the power of the badge to inspire, engage and help people of all ages, genders, race, and socio-economic status. Our work focuses, primarily, on removing barriers to participation and offering opportunities that are accessible to all. We maintain a particular focus on disadvantaged and isolated communities, underrepresented groups and at-risk children, young people and adults and we use the power of the brand as a starting point for engagement with these communities.

This innovative new Cancer Rehabilitation project will enable us to use physical activity to help patients during their recovery in a physical, social, and emotional context. The programme will provide participants with the benefits of physical exercise, whilst also creating a consistent social environment where members can share stories and increase their confidence and self-esteem during a difficult period in their lives. Participants will be welcomed on to our project at any time throughout their cancer journey; from diagnosis, during treatment or recovery and through to remission, meaning they can benefit from the programme before, throughout and after treatment. The project is set up to help people make positive connections at a time where they are feeling lonely/scared.

The Shark Trust

Sharks and rays are some of the ocean's most amazing animals. Present in our seas for 400 million years, they are vital and valuable but also vulnerable.  Around a 1/3 of all shark, skate, ray and chimaera species are considered "threatened" with extinction, largely due to the impact of unsustainable fisheries.  The Shark Trust works globally to ensure endangered species of sharks are suitably protected, while also pushing for science-based fisheries management for all species to ensure long term sustainability.

The Primrose Foundation

We’re your local breast care charity, based at the Primrose Breast Care Centre, Level 7, University Hospitals Plymouth.

Originally set up in 1995, via an appeal to help fund and develop a ‘One Stop Clinic’ in Plymouth, where a one-day assessment is carried out by a variety of different breast care services to find out whether or not further investigations are needed.

The original appeal raised an amazing £500,000 which was match funded by the NHS to create The Primrose Breast Care Centre we know today - A state-of-the art clinic where highly skilled Breast Surgeons, Breast Radiologists, Breast Care Nurses, Radiographers & screening support workers all work together with an incredible administration team to provide a high-quality and efficient service that puts the patients at the heart of everything they do. Our catchment areas are much of West and South Devon & South East Cornwall, which includes Plymouth, Saltash, Looe, Torpoint, Callington, Bude, Launceston, Tavistock, Kingsbridge, Salcombe & Ivybridge (depending on your GP’s referral areas).
