Channel Islands Air Search is a voluntary organisation providing a rapid response airborne search and rescue facility in the 4,000 square mile area around the Channel Islands and adjacent French coast.

The Islander Lions’ Pride, along with the volunteer crew, is on standby 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The aircraft is fitted with state of the art equipment providing the lifeboats and other rescue agencies with invaluable “eyes in the sky”, undertaking searches on the Islands’ cliffs and coastal areas as well as at sea.
