Homelessness can happen to anyone. All it takes is a few poor decisions, bad luck, or a change in circumstances. That’s often all it takes to put someone at risk of becoming homeless. And a housing problem is not always an easy to overcome.
This is why Launchpad exists. Whatever the situation - if you’re behind on your rent, at risk of losing your home, sleeping rough, or sofa surfing, Launchpad can help people turn things around.
Launchpad prevent people from becoming homeless by offering a free drop-in advice service which is open to anyone, regardless of circumstance.
Launchpad also provides over 100 homes for vulnerable people across Reading and are committed to rebuilding lives at their work and life skills centre – Launchpad 135.
Launchpad support anyone in Reading who does not have a stable place to live or are at risk of losing their home, and with the support of people like yourself, we helped over 1,400 people get back on their feet last year – a number which has trebled in five years!
