Jay's Aim Family Colour Run 2025 at Bude RFC - Sunday 13th September at 1.00pm
The ‘Jay’s Aim Family Colour Run 2026’ is a fun run brought to you by Jay's Aim in conjunction with Bude Rugby Football Club.
Entrants will be able to choose between a 1.5k and 3k course each with 5 sponsored colour stations. At each station you and your friends will be doused from head to toe in different coloured ‘holi’ powders! Our colour stations have been kindly sponsored by Wooda Farm Holiday Park, Trewin Design Architects, Generation Solar, Corfloors, Metherell Gard and Clark Construction. We are delighted to welcome The Bank Bude as our headline sponsor for 2026. Situated beside the tranquil River Neet, next door to Bude RFC, The Bank is Bude's popular Cornish tapas bar. Renowned for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, it offers delicious food designed to be shared with friends and family, making it the perfect place to enjoy great company and exceptional local hospitality.
The cross country course takes place on the main rugby pitch and training pitch at Bude RFC. Please note that the course includes uneven ground and, depending on the weather, sections may be wet and muddy. Be sure to take this into account before entering and if you're hoping to finish the run with your clothes the same colour they were at the start, this probably isn't the event for you!
Registration will take place at the Jay’s Aim gazebos to the side of the main pitch, close to the start/finish line. On the day, the rugby club bar will be open where a variety of snacks and hot and cold drinks can be purchased. There will also be a BBQ available at the end of the run with all proceeds going to Jay's Aim. Runners will also have access to the toilet facilities and changing rooms at the rugby club. Please note that food and drink are not included in the ticket price.
A pre-run warm up to music will be provided to get you in the mood and ready to run. The event is marshalled and fully insured with medical cover provided by Omega Medical. Several defibrillators will also be positioned around the course.
100% of the profit from the event will go towards fulfilling the Jay’s Aim charity objectives of reducing the number of young people that die of sudden cardiac arrests in SW England. We would also be very grateful and would like to encourage all participants to set up a SportsGiving fundraising page which will appear as an option when you enter the event.
Colour Powder
The colour powder used is made from natural ingredients (mainly corn starch) and is environmentally friendly. Competitors are asked to wear white where possible - powder may leave stains so please wear old clothes. Sunglasses/glasses are strongly recommended to prevent powder going into eyes. A small number of sunglasses will be available to buy on the day.
Medical Information
Competitors must be medically fit to enter the run. Jay's Aim would encourage all competitors to attend a cardiac screening before entering this event. More details about cardiac screenings can be found on our website: https://www.jaysaim.co.uk/screening
