Hey guys! It’s Swbells and Oscar, and we've decided that Edinburgh's weekends are in dire need of some French pizzazz so were embarking on an audacious race to Paris in just 48 hours, armed with nothing (not a pound sterling/euro to our names) but our irresistible good looks, unparalleled charisma, and a pinch of Oscar's "rusty" French.
We know it sounds like a wild plot line straight out of a romantic comedy (i'm teasing, Jo), but all jokes aside were doing this for a good cause, raising money for the Kaleidoscope Trust, and need to a mere £500 in a week!
The Kaleidoscope Trust is a charity close to our hearts because, well, we're proud to say we're some of the best #allies in Edinburgh! (laugh out loud). It's a UK-based charity focused on fighting for the human rights of LGBTI+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex) people across the Commonwealth. They fund, fight for and empower those upholding the human rights of LGBTI+ people by working with governments, change-makers and civil society organisations to effect meaningful and lasting change in the lives of LGBTI+ people everywhere.
Optimistic as this maybe we do actually need to raise £500 by next week so your donations will make a difference, and who knows, maybe Oscar's rusty French will charm the Eiffel Tower into contributing too!
Thanks in advance, maybe we'll even win, and our outfit reveal will be coming very soon! Get excited!!
