Lowri, Josh, Martin and Marcel are running the Half Marathon in memory of Chris Stuart.
Chris passed away in 2023 after a short illness, Jersey Hospice Care provided Chris and his family with amazing support and care during Chris' illness.
Chris joined BDO in Jersey in January 2015. He has been a highly valued and respected leader in our business since joining us, most recently in the role of Head of Audit & Assurance from May 2022.
He was a true leader; he led by example and was dedicated to helping and supporting both his colleagues and clients.
Chris has made a lasting contribution to our firm. In particular, he championed the development of people and was dedicated to the recruitment, training, and career development of colleagues, acting as a mentor to many of us.
His contribution to the local accounting profession was felt outside our firm; between 2015 and 2017, Chris served as President of The Jersey Society of Chartered & Certified Accountants.
Away from his desk, Chris was an active supporter of the Group’s Social and Wellbeing Committees and a founding member of the BDO Bulldogs, our Touch Rugby team.
Chris is deeply missed by us all.
