Hi - it’s Georgiana and Sheena here!
From the 1st of November we will be participating in Race2Paris; hitchhiking the 874 miles from Edinburgh, across the Channel and finally into Paris against 70 other teams! As crazy as it sounds, our budget is indeed £0...all donations go straight towards our chosen charity and will not be used for travel.
We are racing in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), a charity very close to both our hearts. This will go towards helping fund vital research to help find a cure for the disease, as-well as supporting individuals and their families suffering now.

ESCA is led by a student fundraising group who go by the name Edinburgh RAG. They put on numerous events throughout the year including a hitch hike race to Paris and the Meadows Marathon raising money for a wide range of charities.
Race2Paris is a hitchhike race where teams race from Bristo Square, Edinburgh to Paris in the quickest time possible. It allows you to raise money for any charity you choose (with a UK charity no.) whilst having the time of your life!
