Hey it's James and Jessie. We have decided to hitchhike from Edinburgh to Paris, in order to raise money for the North London Hospice We will be “Hitchhiking for Jack” in memory of Jack Morgan who sadly lost his fight in August aged 22. Throughout his battle, Jack selflessly dedicated his time to helping and supporting others fighting cancer creating an Instagram following of over 27K @itsme_jmo. The North London Hospice played a huge part in supporting Jack during his illness. We are sure many of you have sadly witnessed the hardships that cancer causes loved ones and their families and we want to raise money in order to help North London Hospice with their unbelievable work providing support for patients and families living with a life-limiting illness. ESCA is led by a student fundraising group who go by the name Edinburgh RAG. They put on numerous events throughout the year including a hitch hike race to Paris and the Meadows Marathon raising money for a wide range of charities.
Race2Paris is a hitchhike race where teams race from Bristo Square, Edinburgh to Paris in the quickest time possible. It allows you to raise money for any charity you choose (with a UK charity no.) whilst having the time of your life!
