Cancer has an impact on everyone to some degree during their life, whether it be a family member, a friend, or just someone you know. So we all know only too well what good can come from supporting charities like Macmillan Cancer Support. The Macmillan charity has been particularly important to us and our families due to losing loved ones in recent years. We are hitchhiking to Paris from Edinburgh in November. We start on Friday 1st and cannot spend a single penny on our 874 mile journey in a 48 hour period. We are doing this in our efforts to contribute to Macmillan to aid them in continuing their amazing work in support of those who are suffering. By the year 2040, the number of people living with cancer in the UK will increase to 5.3 million and Macmillan are completely committed to being right there for everyone who needs them. From the moment of diagnosis they provide vital physical, financial and emotional support to both cancer patients and families affected. Despite Max's (debatable) 'frenchness' and self-proclaimed schmoozing ability this really will be no mean feat as we attempt to charm our way to Paris so please do help in any way possible to such a fantastic cause. It will mean so much to us and countless more.
